My Art & Photography
A HOBBY
Art and photography have always come easy to me. I had the opportunity to take ceramics and advanced sculpture in high school and then dabbled in photography as well. I received an art award for my sculptures and then went on to college and took ceramics to increase my skills. I enjoy creating and sculpting faces because each facial part is so unique and different, forming something new within each project.

A SMALL SAMPLE OF MY FAVORITE PEICES
COTTRELL HALL
2017
During one of my communication courses, my professor gave each student in the class 20 minutes to go out around campus and take a photo that had aspects of a wide shot. I couldn't resist taking this picture with the fire pit in the foreground.

MAN WITH NO REASON POT
CERAMICS 2017
Our assignment was to create a box using slabs, and the professor left the rest of the design up to our own discretion. I built this "man with no reason" to show emotion. My goal is to create emotions when viewing my pieces. I wanted the face to look as though it was melting because of his tears.

BASS LAKE RUN
2017
I took this photo on a run while watching the sun rise and the steam settle over the glistening lake.
